Shell of Dreams – Exponatec 2013, Köln
Slide your hand across the handcrafted oaken shell – and sounds, chords and melodies will be heard. The highly sensitive sensor technology on the inside of the shell makes it a sensual musical instrument. The installation responds to visitors’ motions and to their approaching the shell – it becomes an interactive exhibit connecting sound to motion. The technology used allows to control various applications: Video, lighting, sound and digital media become operable in a tactile, sensual manner.
